Time consumes all, even those who travel it

In a different era and galaxy then our own, the fabric of time has come undone and a strange phenomenon called “the Ripple” has formed. The Ripple exists as an expanding field that emanates from a specific point in history. For each day that passes, those who are able can journey one day further into the future or back into the past from the origin point (called “the rift”).

The Ripple has been expanding now for over 23 centuries

Those who have learned how to traverse the ripple are known as free travelers. While they are a varied lot, each with their own agendas on how to alter the time line, there is one who strives to maintain the current order of history, and hunts any who would work to change it.

His name is Dr. Randles, and though he has come to be known by many titles from many peoples, the title he is most recognized by is “The Guardian”

In his long life, Randles has fought many battles, but his most recent ones, the battles with his own age and his growing doubt with his cause, may finally beat him.
