Lum – Beautiful Dreamer

This started off as a gift for a friend's birthday, but it turned into an insane ordeal in no small part due to loosing the first, near completed, version of this picture in the great hard drive crash of '08. I wanted to use this piece as a way to further work on getting a hold on my color technique. It initially had a water color look, but I lost some of it with the neon stars. The works is slightly lop-sided, composition wise, but ultimately I think it came together pretty well.
