Good Charolate - 2007/2008

So…um… I guess this means I think the spider in Charolate's Web is hot. In all seriousness though, this frisky little arachnid was inspired in part by an old Sailor Moon villain. I did the initial character work for this one really quickly for me (in one, maybe two work days), but then I sat on it for awhile due to not only the various upcoming projects (convention prints, Muscles and Fights piece), but also because I didn't really know what to do with the background (too much "but" in that sentance, hu?). I played around with some techniques I've wanted to experiment with for some time. I'm not really too sure how happy I am with the outcome, but it's a good try anyway.
