Final Fantasy 11 "Carmella" Character Art - 2007

Here's a commission I did for a friend of his Final Fantasy XI character. The pose is a little stiffer than I wanted and the slash is slightly off, but all and all I'm happy with how it came out. I realize the sky is kind of plain, but it was done this way to tie it too the way the sky in the game often looks… I think it works alright. I used this piece as another way to experiment with brushes on the grass.
