In the future the world is full of not much else beyond mud and crazy Neolithic cultists who kill people in the name of their god, a giant stone head that flies around spitting out guns and preaching about how penises and bad (good to know that even the apocalypse wouldn't stop the Christian right, hu?). One of the trogs named Zed has become despondent with his floating demigog, and sneaks into the head, only to discover that it's being driven by a reject from community theatre. After giving “summer stock” the old heave ho, Zed rides the head ship until it lands in a strange world ruled by psychic unix, who decide to study Zed before destroying him. Everything in the society beyond this point is much like “Logan's Run” if it dropped the fabled bad acid from Woodstock.

Moment of Madness: This is yet another movie that teaches us that super intelligent shaman types can transfer knowledge through doing the nasty… all these wasted years…

Bullshit or Reel?

Reel, this oddity, which could only be born from the drug addled hippie culture of the late 60's, is called “Zardoz.” This piece is made especially interesting because the part of Zed is played by none other than Sean 007 Connery during a point in his career when his marketability was shaken, not stirred.

Horrible things are afoot at the Mangriffin elite school for Anchor Women… something so horrible that apparently nobody at this school for investigative journalism and reporting can even begin to uncover it. The teachers are performing bizarre sexual tortures (like… brushing there teeth?) in their secret bizarre sexual torture basement on the unlucky female students who don't ace their exams. Thankfully there's a costumed avenger on the scene… well, not really costumed, you see her “costume” consists of a mask, scarf, boots, and… nothing else! This buck bare super heroine defeats her foes by diving at them crotch first and smothering them with her glowing womanhood.

The school masters aren't without powers of their own. One of their teachers is a demon who derives energy from absorbing giant boobs, and uses his magic to transform hapless students into panty-powered ninjas. Can our naked heroine save the day against such odds?

Moment of Madness: At one point two characters are having a heart felt diolauge, when one states “Maybe it's better you leave now for the sake of the plot”. Forth wall, smorth wall

I swear to you this is Reel. The series (yes… series) is Keiko Kamen. It is very surreal and makes one beg the question as to who crime is so low in Japan if they reward the wicked in such ways?
